Farrel Miller
Founder & CEO
Farrel is responsible for setting the overall direction and product strategy for LiveBarn. Previously, Farrel was the Founder and CEO of JumpTV, a leading internet streaming company that merged with Neulion in 2009, TSX: NLN. He was also the owner of the Montreal Juniors Hockey Club of the QMJHL, which he sold to a unit of Quebecor Media. Farrel began his career as a corporate attorney with Clifford Chance (formerly Rogers & Wells). Farrel holds an MBA and Law Degree from McGill University and a B.A. from Brandeis University.
Ray Giroux
COO
Ray completed a 16-year professional hockey career in 2014 as a player in the NHL, AHL, and KHL. He graduated from Yale University in 1998 with a B.A. in Economics. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards and accolades for his work on and off the ice. Prior to joining LiveBarn, the former All-American was part of the Chicago Cubs front office.
Humam Al Barazy
CTO
Humam has held multiple senior engineering positions in companies across Europe and North America. He has over 15 years of software and hardware development experience with companies and research centers, focused on Image Processing, Cloud Architecture, and Mobile Development. Humam holds a Master's in Computer Science, a Master’s in Medical Image Processing, and a B.A. in Medical Engineering.
Tom McCarter
Director of Venue Relations
Tom is a two-time Emmy award-winning producer for his work on SportsCenter, ESPN’s flagship program. During his 18-year career in television production, he covered the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA, Stanley Cup Finals, and other global premier sporting events. Tom also led ESPN’s Highlight operation for a decade, overseeing all content for daily studio and remote programs. He received his B.A. from James Madison University.
Corey Bialow
Board of Advisors
Corey is the Founder and CEO of Bialow Real Estate, a Boston-based real estate development firm, and a founding partner of Be Styled, A Blow-Dry Lounge. Previously, he was the Vice President of Real Estate with The Vitamin Shoppe. Corey is a graduate of George Washington University.
John Dore
Board of Advisors
John is the Head Coach of the Concordia University men’s basketball team, where he has served for over 25 years. He was also appointed Head Coach of men's basketball at the Maccabiah Games on multiple occasions. John is a native of Queens, NY.
Jaimie Grossman
Board of Advisors
Jaimie is a Toronto-based investor and consultant in online media in North America. Previously, he founded UPTREND Media, which became the largest independent Advertising Representation Network in Canada. In 2010, Jaimie led the negotiations and eventual acquisition of UPTREND Media by Yellow Pages Group. He sits on the boards of Kensington Health Centre and Hospice, Kensington Foundation, and Mount Sinai Hospital's Leadership Sinai. He is also the Co-Founder and Director of the Larry Grossman Foundation for Kids. Jaimie holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a Certificate in American Foreign Policy from American University in Washington, D.C.
Pierre McGuire
Board of Advisors
Pierre is a hockey analyst for NBC broadcasts of the National Hockey League and a frequent contributor to TSN Radio, Sportsnet Radio, and New York’s WFAN. He is the winner of two Stanley Cups as an Assistant Coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins (1991-92) and a graduate of Hobart College.
Perry Cavanagh
Board of Advisors
Perry recently retired from a 30-year career in the electrical engineering services industry. He is the Board Chair of Sports Calgary, a volunteer nonprofit society which represents all sports in the city of Calgary. Perry is the past President of Hockey Calgary, one of Canada’s largest minor hockey associations, and currently sits on the Hockey Alberta Foundation Board as a Director. Since 2001, Perry has served as Executive Director of the Don Hartman Arena, managed by the North East Sportsplex Society.
